Concept:

Pankeo and Haruki at the edge of a flat world, meet and develop a beautiful friendship in which they grow together and go on adventures. Haruki, not yet having access to The great soul forest , which makes up most of the world. Pankeo, already having access to the forest because of his connection with his cognizant companion ,Tac, sets out to help Haruki establish a better understanding and bond with her cognizant companion. Haruki, spawned into the world as an adolescent with familial lineage intact from a past life, walks the path of this life in fear and hesitation despite her intention and passion for what she desires to make her dreams come true.

Being born into the world with a pure and untouched consciousness, everyone is accompanied in the journey of life with a cognizant reflection of the individual. Haruki and Pankeo are the main characters of the story. Having met each other in adolescence, however Haruki spawned into existence late, starting as a young woman and meeting Pankeo later in his life at the same age point she is as well. Pankeo already has his cognizant companion well adjusted and in sync with him more or less. Haruki on the other hand, her cognizant companion, “Homily”, is more on the timid side compared to his. Haruki and Homily have the intent and desire but born in the restraints of her lineage, her and Homily see through cracked and foggy glasses that make them walk in hesitation and fear. 

 

In the story, Pankeo and Haruki become close friends. They experience new things together and Pankeo is quick to fall into the position of a mentor and teacher for Haruki as she has little to no experience out in the world overall. A love interest between the two of them develops over time but is not acted upon. So due to this, Pankeo just ends up protecting Haruki and they grow up together. The two are very goal oriented and want more than anything to make their dreams come true. Work really hard to break free the regular work scene, they go on adventures taking the entrepreneurship route.

Pankeos first trial

 

While walking to the forest tac takes panko through trials. Every time panko succeeds he gains a physical or object trait to his character. The first trial allows panko to see color, it is a intlect trial. He learns depth perception by

 

Episode 1 “So that's what they call me?”

 

The creature with yellow eyes stares into panko seemingly trying to understand the individual with blue hair. Pankeo is not reactive at first, the dull eyed boy reaches out to touch the creature wanting to feel the texture of its skin. Before the boys hand completely makes contact the yellow eyes glow making him stop, “what are you” Pankeo 

 

Sajal interrupts for her idea (refer to page 4 of script book)

 

~ The two lock eyes. The creature before him has luminescent yellow eyes and a nose coming to a point. It levitates up and looks like some kinda fleshy squirrel with no hair. 

“What are you? “ asks Pankeo. The creature replies, “No, what are YOU doing?!” the creature pulls the hood of the cloak back and two large pointed ears pop out. Pankeo, started by this, takes a few steps back. “Why are you running AWAY from the tree! This isn't part of the prophecy, aren't you following your intuition at all?” said the creature, now looking more like a hairless cat with giant ears than the harmless demon squirrel Pankeo was thinking of before. “ I have no interest in that or you right now.” he said sternly, and he turned and started walking away. The hairless cat floats next to him trying to convince him otherwise. 

“Pankeo, isn't it? Look kid, you have a very important job to do in this realm and the boss of the great beyond is counting on me to make sure you fulfill your prophecy the right way otherwise your…. Lets say abilities will fall into the wrong hands. That tree will connect the questions you have to some answers and your wandering around won't be necessary.” said the hairless cat creature. 

“So that's what they call me? Pankeo. I'm not interested in being a puppet for some grand scheme. Something calls me and I'm going to it. That has all the answers I need.” Pankeo replied. Pankeo stops walking and kneels down and sifts through the grass. “And what is it you are doing now,young master?” asks the hairless cat.
